[SANS Press Room] SANS Institute - SANS Top-20: Seven years ago, the SANS Institute and the National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) at the FBI released a document summarizing the Ten Most Critical Internet Security Vulnerabilities. Thousands of organizations relied on that list, and on the expanded Top-20 lists that followed in succeeding years, to prioritize their efforts so they could close the most dangerous holes first.

Please, add an additional option to disable this feature and just open it externally in a user's browser of choice, so that those of us who value our computer security can trust McAfee or Norton to intercept any dodgy content, rather than an "open source" browser which many of us choose not to use for that very reason.

[Lion's Links] Coding Horror: All Programming is Web Programming: He uses waterfall and agile (and I assume "Design Patterns") like holy objects that control developers and make development possible. What he and many others fail to realize that these development practices and patterns are not prescriptions, but rather observations and formalizations of what developers have been doing since the first vacuum tubes were hooked together to solve a simple math problem.
[SitePen Blog] SitePen Blog » The Dojo Offline Toolkit: Given that the lack of offline access is a major complaint by executives using web apps, I suspect that the adoption of offline capabilities will follow the same pattern as Ajax: significant early adoption for enterprise intranet applications. Hopefully, consumers won’t have to wait as long to enjoy the benefits of offline access as they did for Ajax.

Rather than try and move my highly-customized blog over to the service, I decided starting a new site would be much easier, so I decided my next site would be housed at Typepad.

[drive blog] drive blog: Toyota Aurion takes on Ford and Holden; is it enough?: the manual mode feels all wrong and back to front and compared to the 6 speed boxes of the falcodores doesnt seem as smart or as smooth or precise in manual mode it was a a lil more jumpy and slower to select the gears unlike the ZF and GM6L80 autos it drove nice extremely quiet the tyres r way to small it looks nice (supercharged model looks better tho) handled well and kiked dwn well and was responisve i like a lot but however i just bought myself a HSV E series GTS which as u can imagine handles fair more superior to the aurion (granted the GTS is equiped with MRC)but im a sales rep and sell Holden's and i can tell u that no1 buys the omega expect fleet which is ofcourse where holden has marketed the model these guys dont care for 6 speed autos 6 airbags nor is a litre of fuel hear and there! so can everybody stop comapring the aurion to the omega becoz the entry level model for the public is either the SV6 or Berlina we do sell the odd Omega to a private buyer but few and far between!and the extra 15KW's and 10Nm and extra gear in the box makes a massive differance the Alloytec is quick and has run as quick as 6.9 to 100, so every toyo lover keen to bag the Ve out drive a SS or SSV and ul see where the BILLION $$$ was spent, the V6 doesnt do the VE chassis justice it needs the grunt of the bent 8 to show just how cabable the car is, afta monthes of driving omega's SV6,SS,SSV,Calias V's and my own GTS its clear that the aurion no matter how great of vaule it is just doesnt have the same dymanics or class
